Help Support the Seattle Buddhist Center
What our center has to offer is the Buddha’s teachings, meditation and our sangha. Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity that will pervade the community. We are self-supported by individual contributions with no central funding.
Through giving, we learn to transcend ourselves and respond to the needs of others. If you value what is offered, you will hopefully be inspired to help us to offer that gift to others. All fees and donations pay for operating costs. Please consider supporting the center by donating a tax-deductible gift, volunteering, and/or by purchasing items from our bookstore located in the center.
If you are already pledging or volunteering, sadhu! We are grateful, and appreciate your generosity.
Donate OnlineDonations are tax deductible. We are registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Ways to Donate
Be it large or small, one-time, or ongoing, give to the level of your ability; any amount helps. Monthly pledges are especially helpful as they enable us to budget more effectively. Last year pledges ranged from $30 to $250 per month. We accept the following types of financial donation:
- EFT – via bank
- Check – made out to the SBC, mail, or leave in dana bowl
- Online – paypal (see adjacent button)
- Cash – leave in dana bowl in envelope at the Center
